Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
Accepting clients Last Updated 25 days ago

I have 28 years of working with adolescents and young adults. My approach to therapy is founded in the value of the therapeutic relationship. It is very important my clients feel heard and validated with a sense of security as they explore their experiences of both suffering and success. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidenced based psychotherapy treatment to help improve communication with others, reduce fears and phobias, interrupt thoughts that lead to addictive or other self-destructive behaviors, improve self esteem and change negative thought patterns. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations in psychiatric hospitals, treatment programs, the criminal justice system, young adult transitional programs, family systems and private practice.
