Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Accepting clients Last Updated 1 days ago

Hello, I'm LaTria. I became a Mental Health Therapist for the DC Department of Corrections/Unity Healthcare because I believe in the power of meeting people where they are in their therapeutic journey. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which I find incredibly effective in helping clients understand and change their thought patterns to improve their emotional well-being.

Recognizing the critical role of therapy in overall health, I have incorporated Telehealth into my private practice, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. This allows me to provide flexible and accessible care to my clients. Additionally, I continue to offer mental healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, a population that often faces unique and significant challenges.

When I'm not working, I cherish my time as a mother and enjoy cooking and diving into new DIY projects. I'm also a proud Bowie State Bulldog for life, which speaks to my commitment and loyalty to my roots.

If you feel that we might be a good match, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can work towards achieving your mental health goals and improving your overall quality of life.
