Natalie Schettini
I am a bilingual (English and Haitian Creole) Gen- Z mental health counselor. I make it my primary mission to foster a warm environment with a client first in order to ensure safety and trust. I believe when we show up as our authentic selves, we are better able to understand each other. I believe in meeting you the client where you are at and empowering you in pursuing “baby steps” for change.
Here we will work on creating your best self by learning triggers, accepting the past, and incorporating coping skills in order to overcome emotional distress. I promote a safe, healing environment for individuals of diverse racial backgrounds, cultural backgrounds, religious backgrounds, sexual orientations, and body sizes.
I practice from a person centered approach. Your life is not just about your presenting problem. Here I will look at you as a whole in an effort to understand how you interact in the different environments of your life that concerns your family, social circle, relationships, school life, work life, etc. Here you will have the safe space to address any issue that you want.
