Virginia Scott, LMSW, CSW
My clinical practice is informed and enriched by my career as a professor, director, and administrator in the performing arts. I have directed or taught theatre courses at some of the most well-regarded theatre programs in the country, including Juilliard, Yale School of Drama, and NYU TISCH School of the Arts. I’m passionate about supporting clients to enhance self-expression, self-acceptance and understanding to develop coping strategies, make positive changes and build joyful lives. I am committed to serving students in all content areas to navigate pressure, pursuit of excellence and transition to career. It is important to me that LGBTQ+ people feel safety in the therapeutic space. I integrate creative, trauma-informed, cognitive-behavioral, and body/movement approaches into my therapeutic work. I’m honored to support you in your therapeutic journey!
