I am a clinical mental health counselor and expressive arts therapist whose practice is rooted in community and social justice-based approaches to mental health and well-being. I work primarily with adolescents and adults with diverse mental health needs. My clinical experience has specifically involved working with womxn and folx of color to address complex trauma and explore issues around gender, sexuality, and sociocultural identity.

My background in social activism, education, and community empowerment influences my approach to therapy. I offer trauma-informed, client centered talk therapy, expressive arts therapy also have experience in CBT and DBT. I work at a group practice called Center Psychotherapy. We accept insurance and all intake and billing goes through the group practice. I primarily offer telehealth in English and Hindi.

I use warmth, spontaneity, and a collaborative approach to building a therapeutic relationship. My favorite arts-based practices include poetry and bibliotherapy, narrative therapy, and drama therapy. As a dancer, I also believe in bringing an awareness of the body into the therapeutic process.
