They want relief, but not just a quick fix. They’re looking to better understand themselves, break free from rigid patterns, and move toward a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and aligned.

I have always enjoyed working with children and adolescents, but expanding to teens, young adults, and middle-aged adults has been incredible! I assist with addressing a variety of problem areas including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, academic difficulties, impulsivity/hyperactivity, symptoms related to trauma history or exposure, relationship concerns, family conflicts, life transitions, and daily stressors. In collaboration with the client and their families, I gather information and assist with developing targeted treatment plans to help clients work toward their goals and improve their overall well-being. Creating a safe and comfortable environment for my clients is what I strive for so clients can feel they can be free with their thoughts and feelings without the fear of being judged. I utilize interventions from models such as Client-Centered Therapy, CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy as counseling progresses and needs are identified. While there are many important factors involved in the counseling process, I believe that one of the most critical aspects of therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship. I utilize my ability to empathize and connect with clients of all ages and backgrounds to develop those strong therapeutic relationships with my clients.

Many of the students I work with are navigating major life transitions while carrying the weight of stress, anxiety, trauma, family expectations, relationship challenges, or feelings of not quite belonging. I especially enjoy working with first-generation college students, students from immigrant families, women, and neurodivergent students, including those with ADHD. Together, we create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can better understand yourself, build practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values. You don't have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy—we can start exactly where you are.
Challenging life transitions such as a new school, being away from home for the first time, the loss of a loved one, or relationship changes can leave us feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and disconnected from our true selves. It may feel like no one understands what you’re going through or like you don’t have the energy for things that used to really matter to you. Perhaps it feels like you lost your identity. You need some relief. You’re ready to feel calmer and more hopeful. You’re ready to feel like you have the tools to handle difficult days. Most of all, you’re ready to feel like yourself again. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who is approachable and compassionate, because therapy should be a place where you feel supported and encouraged to grow. Sessions with me incorporate talk therapy, mindfulness, and movement to best suit your unique needs and goals. Together we’ll find a new way forward, at your pace. As a therapist with both clinical and life experience, I am prepared to support you through this difficult transition. I help clients like you find meaning, joy and connection again by equipping them with tools they need to navigate life’s challenges and uncertainties. You don’t have to go through this alone.
