I am a lover of liminal spaces. To me, the liminal, the “in-between”, is a space of great possibility. It lies at the edge of certainty and uncertainty. It beckons us to drop what we think we know and be with what is actually present. My identities and life experiences give me a sense of being “in-between.” I’m a gender fluid, Puerto Rican person who grew up in the diaspora. I grew up in a military family and spent my childhood moving from place to place. As an adult, I continued to move, spending years living and working in the Pacific Islands and Latin America. I explore liminal spaces in my exploration of fiber art, as well as in my music. I love to create new combinations of seemingly opposing elements, whether that is an innovative way of weaving or creating a folksy version of a salsa song. As a therapist, my “in-between” experiences reinforce my belief that when we can stay present in the place of flux, of uncertainty, then change and transformation is possible. I have spent over 8 years providing somatic, present-moment focused, and intuitive psychotherapy to survivors of sexual violence, sexual abuse and individuals experiencing grief. I combine extensive training in Gestalt therapy, Internal Family Systems, psychedelic-assisted therapy and mindfulness-based interventions to aid clients in creating lives they love. My activism and commitment to social justice come to bear in years of experience in community mental health. I believe that personal healing is bound in collective healing, that we are all threads in the larger tapestry of life. Through my practice, I aim to empower individuals to invest in their wholeness, health, and joy, recognizing that we are all the medicine we need.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychodynamic psychotherapist with advanced training and extensive clinical experience with adults. I enjoy working with both men and women of college age and beyond to help them better understand and cope with a wide range of emotional issues and concerns that may create personal stress, anxiety, depression, confusion or low self- esteem. In addressing these issues they are better able to handle the demands of school as well as their relationships with friends and family. In our work together, my focus is on building a therapeutic relationship built on trust and openness as I attune myself to each person’s unique feelings, problems, experiences and life circumstances. Most people I work with find me comfortable to talk to, insightful, supportive, and compassionate.

Navigating the complexities of being human can be as rewarding as it is complicated. Our journeys are filled with moments that require us to muster resilience, practice self-compassion, and foster hope—even when the path seems unclear. It's not uncommon to find ourselves ensnared in cycles of negative thinking that foster shame, grappling with emotional regulation that impacts our relationships, or struggling to stay anchored in the present, affecting our decision-making abilities. At K & K Holistic Counseling, we are dedicated to guiding you through these challenges, helping you cultivate a life of significance and joy. Our mission is to offer a therapeutic environment that is both welcoming and collaborative, focusing on the individual as a whole rather than a constellation of symptoms. With our expertise in DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches, we partner with you to set and achieve goals that resonate with your deepest values. If you are prepared to embark on a journey toward breaking free from counterproductive cycles and embracing a more fulfilled existence, we invite you to connect with us.

I work best with students who feel a lot—sometimes all at once—and aren’t sure where to put it. You might be dealing with anxiety, identity questions, relationship stress, or the pressure to keep everything together while quietly struggling inside. If you’re queer or exploring your identity, you’ll find a space here where you don’t have to explain or defend who you are. And if you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, collaborative, and open-minded, this might be a good fit. Please reach out!

WARNING: HIGHLY INTERACTIVE THERAPIST! I work with clients 13+ from a wide range of genders and backgrounds. Most of my clients are dealing with some combination of anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or questions about sexuality and gender. Many are coming out of their first big break up or first major loss. I have a particular focus in “men’s” issues, relationships and couples work, and on addressing topics we were never taught to explore — namely sexuality and grief. Some of my clients are deeply religious others are atheists. Some have never dated others are active BDSMers. My style is highly interactive. We’ll work to address faulty beliefs and longstanding BS. Together, we can talk about anything from anxiety to compulsive porn use, from kink to grief. I have a particular focus in “men’s” issues, couples counseling, and grief. I won’t promise you’ll “find happiness.” That would be like trying to sell you keys to your own car. All I promise is to be your teammate. If what you seek is a combination of empathy and strength, a nonjudgmental space, an emphasis on connection over analysis, and a confidant who will not waver then I invite you to book a consultation below.

Hi name is Vanessa, The students I work best with often have a lot on their plates. They may be high-achieving or highly motivated, but still feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck. Many are juggling school, work, family expectations, and social pressures, and feel like they’re expected to “have it all together” even when they don’t. The students who tend to thrive in my practice are open to self-reflection and curious about understanding themselves better. I am most aligned with individuals who want practical tools to manage stress, improve confidence, and cope with emotions, but also want space to talk things through without judgment. Clients I serve don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy—many just want support, clarity, and a place where they can be honest. If you’re a student who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of support while figuring things out, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to do it by yourself. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel understood, and build skills that help you move forward with more confidence and balance.

Through my experiences as a therapist, I have seen how life stressors, past experiences, and genetics can all play a role in the difficulties of our lives. My hope is that we can create a safe environment to enable you to grow and adapt to what life has to offer and start to explore the things that may be holding us back. I have worked with individuals and couples struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorders, ADD, ADHD, Marital Conflict, issues surrounding substance abuse, and issues surrounding gender and identity. I specialize in working with individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. I offer a free phone consultation to help you determine if my services are a good fit for you or your family! There are 4 Minuteclinic therapists in Pennsylvania, available via telehealth or in person, 365 days a year. All of us are licensed, experienced, caring, and motivated to help you get back to thriving. In particular, about me: I am the therapist in Jenkintown. I try to use experiential methods (such as IFS, Internal Family Systems) so that therapy isn't 'just talk'. But if you just want a good compassionate listener, I can do that too. I might be a good choice for you if your situation is complicated, if your feelings are very intense, or if this is your first time reaching out for therapy and you want to make sure it's a good experience (or if you've had bad experiences in therapy before and you want to make sure it's different this time.) Feel free to contact me to see if I'm right for you. Best wishes, Su Siegelman LCSW

IOP Sanare Today is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that provides group treatment for individuals in crisis or who are struggling with maintaining emotional stability. We offer both mental health and substance use groups. Groups are held 4 days a week to provide more support and direction than traditional outpatient care. IOP groups are provided separately for adolescents and adults. The IOP is an effective step down transition for individuals coming out of a hospital or as a preventive measure to inpatient treatment. Each group session runs for 2 ¼ hours. Family support groups are scheduled weekly or every other week. Sanare Today offers day and evening programs in several different office locations. Life Coaching Sanare Today also offers life coaching. Sanare Today Life Coaching provides guidance for day to day living as well as therapeutic technique implementation. It involves working with adolescents and adults struggling to thrive at their ideal capacity. The core process involves mainly individual, but at times, group sessions. The coaching plan is determined through the collaboration of the client, the coach and the referring provider (if applicable). Each session runs for a total of 60 minutes, unless predetermined otherwise. Sanare Today Life Coaching is designed for individuals who would benefit from more experiential services instead of, or in addition to, traditional mental health or substance use treatment. Life coaching is an effective step down from the intensive outpatient program and an effective addition to individual, one-on-one treatment.

I’m a good fit for students who get trapped in their head—overthinking everything, replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, or feeling like they can’t relax unless everything is “handled.” You might be high-achieving, but constantly stressed, exhausted, or scared of messing up. Sometimes that turns into procrastination, avoidance, or feeling numb. In therapy, we’ll focus on helping you calm the mental noise, handle stress more effectively, and build confidence in your choices—so school and life don’t feel like a constant emergency.

I created this practice, mktherapy, in order to provide a space that believes in affirming and celebrating queer and trans identities. I specialize in working with fat identified folks who are in recovery and healing from fatphobic familial and cultural structures. I have additional interests in working with people coming into queer and trans identities later in life, intergenerational and ancestral trauma, as well as religious and spiritual trauma.

I love being a therapist and helping individuals develop a deeper understanding of, and connection to, themselves and others. I value building a strong therapeutic relationship based on acceptance, trust, and empathic understanding, where individuals feel safe, heard, valued and empowered to heal and make the positive changes for which they desire. I use a variety of methods in my work, including relational, cognitive, behavioral, and emotion-focused interventions in an integrative fashion to address each person's unique concerns. With children, I incorporate developmentally-sensitive interventions and mediums for self-expression. I offer treatment for a variety of concerns, inc. stress, anxiety, depression, identity and adjustment concerns, and relationship issues. I specialize in treating survivors of interpersonal trauma and have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and various forms of childhood maltreatment. I have experience conducting therapy and assessment in a variety of settings (college counseling, RTF, community mental health, crisis mobile response, schools) across the continuum of age and functioning. I have training and experience in therapy modalities to treat PTSD, including TF-CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure.
